Gulf Shores stung the Yellowjackets

Gulf Shores Football and Sports News

The Gulf Shores High School football team stung the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets this week inside the Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium. On a near perfect night for a game, the Dolphins fought a tough battle and came out victorious with a 10 - 6 score. After three loses to start the season, Gulf Shores is on the board with it's first win.

The Gulf Shores Dolphins will next face the Blount Leopards at home on the 19th.

Orange Beach Makos took a pounding from the W.S. Neal Eagles with a 44 - 15 loss in Brewton. The Eagles scored in every quarter and held the Makos scoreless in the fourth quarter. Orange Beach is now 2-2 for the season and will face the Satsuma Gators in the new Mako stadium on September 19.

Local high school football games are being broadcast on Sunny 105.7 radio. You can listen live on the radio and computer.

After each local high school football game, Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores is staying open late! When asked why the management said "Because victory (and even tough losses) taste better with nachos, burgers, and something cold at the beach’s Tackiest hangout!"
