Shark Fest Gulf Shores News

One of the most popular summer events for young adults is attending Shark Fest at the Alabama Gulf State Park. The event allows youth to learn the facts about sharks and other sea life which live in local waters.

The event takes place at Gulf State Park’s Saltwater Pier and offers hands-on activities for all ages. Guests will learn about Gulf Coast sharks through interactive exhibits, expert presentations, and up-close encounters. This year’s event promises more excitement, learning, and family-friendly fun.

Shark Fest 2025 runs Thursday, June 26 through Saturday, June 28. Thursday’s hours are from 2 to 7 p.m., while Friday and Saturday run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry is just $5, and parking is free. Tickets can be bought online or at the event.

Highlights include live shark dissections and talks from marine researchers. Visitors can see shark teeth and bones and learn about the many shark species that live in nearby waters. The displays are designed to be fun and informative.

One of the main attractions is the stingray touch tank. Children can also enjoy crafts, face painting, and scheduled activities. Updates will be shared on
social media during the festival.

The event is held at 20800 East Beach Boulevard at the Saltwater Pier. Shark Fest is open to everyone and offers a low-cost, educational experience for the whole family.
