Shrimp Festival Poster Contest

The National Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, is looking for an artist to design its official 2025 poster. The winning artwork will be featured on festival merchandise, marketing materials, and more. This contest is a tradition that highlights artistic talent.

The selected artist will receive a $1,000 cash prize and must attend an autograph session on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Artists can submit their designs by mail or in person until noon on Friday, March 21, 2025. Full contest rules and submission details are available online.

The 52nd annual festival will take place from October 9 to 12, 2025, drawing thousands of visitors to Gulf Shores. Known for its seafood, music, and arts, the event is one of the region’s most anticipated celebrations.

Previous poster winners have gained recognition for their work. The 2024 design was created by Red Owen, a U.S. Army veteran and artist from Louisiana. His work was showcased on festival merchandise and promotions.

Artists interested in entering should carefully review the guidelines to ensure their submissions meet all requirements. This is a chance to be part of a long-standing Gulf Coast tradition and share your work with a large audience.
