Topsail Steamer to Appear on TV Show Shark Tank This Week

Join the Fun with a Steam Pot Watch Party on October 25th

A new restaurant in Gulf Shores is getting national recognition. Topsail Steamer will make an appearance on ABC's "Shark Tank" on Friday, October 25th, at 7 p.m. The seafood steam pot company will showcase its unique at-home seafood solution, which aims to bring ocean, or gulf flavors directly to home kitchens.

To celebrate the Shark Tank feature, Topsail Steamer is encouraging fans to host watch parties. On their Facebook page, the company suggested ordering a steam pot to enjoy during the show. "Gather your friends, fire up your stove, and make it a night to remember," the post read. Orders can be placed on their website, topsailsteamer.com, with the hashtag #FeastLikeAShark.

To get the party started early, the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber will be hosting a ribbon cutting event earlier on Friday from 1:00-2:00pm at the Gulf Shores location,1544 Gulf Shores Pkwy, Gulf Shores, AL 36542.

Tune in to "Shark Tank" on Friday night at 7:00pm, October 25th to see Topsail Steamer present their signature product to the Sharks, and consider joining in the festivities with a fresh steam pot at home.

Gulf Shores Pedestrian Bridge Towers Topped

The City of Gulf Shores provided an update on the progress of a $24 million pedestrian bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). The Waterway Village Pedestrian Bridge will include two towers, one on each side of the ICW, and a separate plaza project will enhance the areas surrounding the towers.
