Expansion and Growth

While Big Mike's has built a massive reputation and significant following over the years, the restaurant has experienced substantial growth. It recently expanded its footprint by opening its seventh location in Millbrook, Alabama, which features a special Wall of Honor to recognize local veterans. An eighth location is also currently in the works for Bay Minette. Today, the bustling franchise spans multiple communities across the state, including locations in Andalusia, Auburn, Guntersville, Moundville, and Orange Beach.

Where They Started

Big Mike's Steakhouse originally started in the rural town of Thomasville, Alabama. The restaurant debuted there in October 2013 as the vision of three friends—Mike Cole, Scott Powell, and Caine Conway—who wanted to bring a world-class steakhouse experience to rural communities so residents wouldn't have to drive hours to a big city.
