Gulf Shores Camping Event

The local pristine beaches are protected from campers and other activities except for a sanctioned special event. The Alabama Gulf State Park is offering groups, up to (4) campers in each tent, a unique opportunity to sleep on the beach in March. The Spring Beach Campout 2026 welcomes both adults and children of all ages. It promises to be a memorable experience for everyone participating. Alabama State Parks is organizing the camping event.

Check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Registration must be completed by Thursday, March 26, 2026, so those interested have limited time left. The campout is held at Gulf State Park, a popular spot along the Alabama coast.

One tent for up to four people costs $45.00. Each extra guest beyond four adds $5.00. The pricing makes it an affordable choice for families seeking a fun and budget-friendly outdoor escape along the Gulf.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the event. Pets are not permitted at the campout. Organizers request that all participants adhere to the park's rules to help ensure a safe and enjoyable night for everyone present.

The Spring Beach Campout offers families a rare opportunity to experience Alabama's coastline in a truly special way. Camping overnight under the stars just steps from the Gulf of Mexico is an unforgettable experience. The event is expected to attract outdoor enthusiasts from across the region.

Those interested in attending can find more information and register their tent online by
