With a proud legacy and high hopes, the team continues its pursuit of a fifth consecutive state title. Their momentum is strong heading into this week’s big games.

The Makos will face the West Blocton Tigers on Wednesday, May 14, at 10:45 a.m. The first-round matchup takes place at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama. This venue is home to the AHSAA State Softball Championships. Orange Beach enters the tournament as the Region I qualifier.

If the Makos win the game on Wednesday morning they will have to play Curry, a team with a 35-2 overall record.
