Gulf Shores Event News

One of the MOST favorite events on the beach is coming back. The City of Gulf Shores is once again hosting its popular "S'mores on the Shore" event this year. Residents and visitors can enjoy campfires, live DJ music, and make delicious s'mores treats. The family-friendly gatherings will take place at the west end of Gulf Shores Public Beach. Everyone is invited to join this free community celebration that has become a local tradition.

The events are scheduled for May 22 and July 31, 2025, both starting at 6 p.m. These bi-annual gatherings have quickly become favorite activities for families looking for summer fun. The city expects a good turnout based on previous years' attendance.

Attendees will enjoy several activities, including a balloon artist and face painting services. The Lions Club will be on site selling hotdogs, chips, and drinks to hungry participants. Representatives from the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo will also make an appearance with special presentations.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for comfortable seating on the beach. The setting on the white sands of Gulf Shores Public Beach provides a perfect backdrop for an evening of community fun and relaxation.
