Orange Beach is preparing to open its newest community facility, the Orange Beach Shooting Complex, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for this coming Thursday. The event is expected to draw residents, city officials, and enthusiasts from across the area. The city has been eagerly anticipating the complex as a new offering for both recreational shooters and those interested in safe firearms training. The ceremony is set to mark an important milestone for the city’s ongoing efforts to provide more community resources.

The ribbon cutting will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Community members are invited to join at the Orange Beach Shooting Complex, located at 23172 Russian Road. The city hopes the afternoon event will encourage new visitors to see the facility and learn about its goals for safety and sportsmanship. Orange Beach officials have stated that grand opening events like this are designed to open up city resources to the public and receive feedback from residents.

As Orange Beach continues to grow, new facilities such as the shooting complex provide recreational opportunities close to home. The city believes this new venue will not only benefit those interested in shooting sports but will also help bring more events and visitors to the area.

Orange Beach city leaders invite everyone to the ribbon cutting and hope to see families, sports enthusiasts, and new faces participate.
