Orange Beach, Ala. — (GSN) — The Orange Beach Sportfishing Club is gearing up for its annual Kenny Vines Memorial Tournament, one of the area's most anticipated offshore fishing events of the fall. The tournament draws anglers from across the Gulf Coast to compete in multiple species categories. The event is hosted at Tacky Jack's Downstairs in Orange Beach, Alabama, a well-known waterfront venue on the Intracoastal Waterway. The tournament is scheduled for September 11 and 12, 2026, with activities beginning on Friday, September 11. A mandatory Captain's Meeting will be held that evening from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tacky Jack's Downstairs. All competing captains must attend the meeting before heading offshore the following day.

Entry fees are $350 per boat for teams registering before September 9, 2026. After that date, the entry fee increases to $450 per boat. Each entry includes four anglers, and additional anglers may be added for $50 each.

Anglers will compete in several offshore species categories, including catch-and-release, swordfish, tuna, Wahoo, dolphin, and a junior anglers division. Optional cash award categories are also available for an additional $200. The variety of divisions gives both experienced offshore anglers and younger competitors a chance to participate.

On Saturday, September 12, scale hours at the tournament headquarters will run from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. An awards party featuring prizes and trophies is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. that evening. Sponsors for the event include Latitude LTB Tournament Boats, Orange Beach Vessel Management, Pensacola Rubber & Gasket Co., and Tacky Jack's.
