One of the most cherished fishing tournaments returns to the Wharf. Children across the Gulf Coast will soon have the chance to cast their lines and reel in big memories as the “Kids Win” fishing event returns to the Gulf Shores area. Held at The Wharf, the family-friendly event will include both fishing and fun activities geared toward young anglers. Parents and local businesses alike are getting ready to take part in what has become a favorite fall tradition. The day promises not only a good time but also a chance to support a meaningful cause.

This year’s Kids Win is set for Saturday, September 27, at The Wharf in Orange Beach. Registration for the event opens at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 1. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with weigh-ins scheduled between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. All activities are open to children and their families.

Kids Win is presented by
Rouses Markets and will benefit Make-A-Wish Alabama, a nonprofit that helps grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. The event blends community involvement with charitable giving, offering kids a chance to enjoy the outdoors while supporting an important mission.

In addition to fishing, children can take part in various activities throughout the morning. The event is designed to keep kids engaged whether they’re experienced anglers or just learning. Past events have drawn strong turnouts from both locals and visitors.

Organizers say they’re excited to bring the event back after many requests from the community. With support from local sponsors and families, Kids Win continues to grow as one of the area’s most beloved youth events. Those interested in registering can find more details on The Wharf’s website and social media pages.
